The Circuit is equipped with the following: 1. Illumination system - it is an outdoor circuit built specifically for kart racing and it can be used around the clock since it provides it's own nocturnal system; 2. The timing system - The ChronX system introduced in 2003 offers the possibility of timing each lap; Details for the ChronX system: - this is the same system used in the International Karting Championship and the system offers the opportunity to create daily monthly or seasonal ranks (standings); the standings can be individual or for teams; How is the race timed? Each kart is equipped with a transmiter which identifies the kart as well as the competitor; The receiver is installed in the pavement at a 1 cm depth and it is marked by the yellow line. 2.1. On the participation sheet the timing starts after the kart first crosses the yellow line and it ends also at the yellow line such that: the first lap is not timed; - last lap end immediately after crossing the yellow line. 2.2. The timing of the 5-minute race start once the competitor begins to race and it ends once the kart is parked in the designed area. 3. Signaling system: - the race can only start with the approval of the organizers; - the yellow flashing light requires competitors to lower their speed; - the red flashing light requires competitors to stop and the race cannot begin again until the lights stop flashing; - the end of the 5 minute race is signaled by the word stop displayed on the board. At this time the competitor is required to apply the breaks and enter the parking are without any further acceleration. 4. Own terrace: The Terrace is closed to public and it is only accessible to competitors.
